The disc is made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, the seal is EPDM with a temperature range from −25 to +80°C, the body is SCh20 cast iron with an epoxy coating with a thickness of 250 microns. The price remains competitive not due to simplification, but due to vertical integration: in-house casting, in-house assembly, absence of intermediaries in the supply chain.

How to choose - without mistakes that cost more than the shutter itself

The most common mistake is to focus only on diameter and pressure. But the key parameters affecting durability and cost are hidden deeper:

• Seal type: EPDM - for cold water and waste; Viton - in the presence of chlorine or oil impurities; PTFE disk lining - if the pH of the medium is below 4.5;
• Rotation angle: standard 90° - for complete overlap; 45° - to regulate flow (but only in models with a reinforced axis and an accurate scale mark);
• Axle material: steel 40X with nitriding - required for DN ≥ 300 and pressure above 1.0 MPa;
• Leakage class: according to GOST R 54808–2011 - class “A” (zero leakage) requires double sealing and higher precision of flange processing.
